Netan Nico Sansara (born 3 August 1989) is an English footballer who plays as a defender for Fredrikstad FK.
He has previously played for Walsall, Dundee, AFC Telford United,Corby Town, PAEEK and FC Vestsjælland.
Sansara was born in Walsall. He grew up in the Darlaston area, playing for his local team Darlaston Town. As a child he attended Pinfold Street Primary School and Darlaston Community Science College School, he played for all school football teams. He also represented his county, the Staffordshire district. During his time in theWalsall youth team Sansara completed A levels in Psychology, Physical Education and Biology.
Sansara made his Walsall debut on 9 August 2008 in the Football League One game with Yeovil Town which ended in a 1–1 draw. Having come through the youth ranks at Walsall, he was handed a professional contract at the age of 17, by then Walsall manage Richard Money, after impressing him during youth team and reserve team games. Sansara made his professional debut the following season by newly appointed Walsall manager Jimmy Mullen against Yeovil Town. He said, “I thought he did well. But he’s played well against Aston Villa and Wolves in pre-season, as well as other teams when Boertien wasn’t available. I’ve given him his debut and he’ll look back when he’s 35 and say ‘Jimmy Mullen gave me an opportunity’. He might even thank me one day! But I thought he was excellent – very good.
At the start of the 2009–10 season, Sansara was handed the squad number three, by manager Chris Hutchings. However, during a pre-season friendly in July 2010 against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Sansara’s progress was halted due to an ankle ligament injury sustained in a tackle with Greg Halford. He made a return to action for his first start away at Colchester United in October 2009. The Saddlers lost 2–1.
Sansara went on to make another 19 appearances during the 2009–10 season.
The start of August 2010, saw Sansara make five appearances for Dundee in the Scottish First Division. Following his release by Dundee in October he joined Grimsby Town on trial but failed to earn a deal and joined AFC Telford United on a non-contract basis deal. He left the club without making an appearance and finished the season with Corby Town.
In July 2011, it had been announced that Sansara had signed for Cypriot side PAEEK. It had been revealed that Sansara had also received other offers during the summer but was to have been quoted stating he thought this move was the best for the development of his career.
On 17 September 2011, in the opening game of the season, Sansara made his debut for PAEEK. He completed the full 90 minutes in a 1–0 win over Ethnikos Assia.
In December 2011 it was announced that Sansara was offered a new deal by PAEEK after a string of impressive displays in defence for the Cypriot side.
Sansara helped PAEEK to finish in fourth place. He made 26 appearances out of 27, missing only one game through suspension after picking up five bookings. His performances for PAEEK saw him shortlisted for the Player of the Year award at the inaugural Asian Football Awards, which took place at Wembley Stadium in January 2012. Sansara was offered a new contract in Dec 2011 and was said to be considering his options at the end of the 2011–12 campaign.
In July 2012 it was announced that Sansara had joined Danish First Division club FC Vestsjælland after rejecting a new two-year contract offered by former Cypriot club PAEEK. Sansara signed a one-year deal with the Danish club. On 8 August, Sansara made his FC Vestsjælland debut against Hobro IK, playing the full 90 minutes. The game ended in a 1–1 draw.
In June 2013 Sansara turned down the chance to return to FC Vestsjælland after helping them win promotion to the Danish superliga. In July 2013 Sansara joined Conference North side Boston United.
In July 2014 Sansara again made the move abroad this time to Norwegian first division club Fredrikstad FK. Sansara made his debut in the clubs first game back after the summer break playing the full 90 minutes against Bryne FK.
On 8 September 2014, Sansara signed a new two-year deal with the Norwegian club until 2016. The defender impressed immensely in his first eight games for the club, he scored three times.
Sansara has represented England youth at under-18 and under-19 level, earning three caps. He made his England debut against Holland at Yeovil’s Huish Park. He then went on to earn another two caps at international level for England, once with the under-18’s and his last coming for the under-19’s.
Sansara is of Indian origin. Sansara got his first international call-up for India for a warm-up to a FIFA World Cup qualifier against Qatar.
Sansara worked with the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) to try to increase the number of British Asians taking up a career in professional football, and has attended meetings with the PFA to achieve this goal.
He is also an ambassador for Kick It Out (Lets Kick Racism Out of Football), when appointed Sansara was quoted “I have been working closely with the Kick It Out campaign for a while now, and I look forward to continuing to assist the work. I hope to act as a role model to the next generation of young British Asian talent.
In January 2012, Sansara was nominated for the Asian player of the year award 2012 at the Asian Football Awards. The event held at Wembley stadium and supported by Kick It Out (Lets Kick Racism Out Of Football) and The Football Association. He was nominated alongside players such as Zesh Rehman and Michael Chopra.
In May 2013 Sansara was crown the British Indian Awards sports personality of the year after a season with Danish team FC Vestsjælland. Sansara beat England cricketers Ravi Bopara and Monty Panesar to the award.

Melvyn James “Mel” Eves (born September 10, 1956 in Darlaston) is a former English professional footballer who had a long career playing as a striker and left sided attacker, mostly known for his time with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Eves was educated at Wolverhampton Grammar School from 1968 to 1975 when he represented England as a Schoolboy International before joining Wolves. He eventually made his debut on 26 November 1977 againstIpswich Town at Molineux in the First Division.
His first goal was at Chelsea in 1978, followed by the winner againstManchester United in the following game and a goal in victory over Aston Villa afterwards. Such a run saw him earn a spot in the England B’s summer tour of 1978, managed by Sir Bobby Robson, where he made three appearances and scored one goal (in a record 8-0 success over Singapore’s full team).
Eves played in Wolves’ 1980 League Cup final triumph over then-European Cup holders Nottingham Forest at Wembley.
He was top goalscorer in 1981/82 (seven goals) as Wolves slumped out of the top flight, but his 18 league goal haul the following year, not only earned him the top goalscorer award again, but saw the team immediately return to Division One.
Financial problems then struck Wolves and saw many players, including Eves, leave after relegation. After a period of time training at Manchester City, recovering from a ruptured Achilles tendon sustained in his last game for Wolves in May 1984, Eves was signed by Sheffield United in December 1984. Here, he played until May 1986 and was also voted ‘Player of the Year’ by fans.
Eves then moved to Gillingham and played two further seasons in the third tier. He retired through injury in May 1989 after a six-month spell at Walsall, aged 32.
Upon leaving the game, Eves became an independent financial advisor (IFA), often dealing with advising young footballers. He became a licensed FA agent in the mid-1990s and became more involved with the agency work, although also running an IFA business. In the 2000s, though, he has focused more on his agency commitments, representing players such as Enzo Maresca, Benito Carbone, Fabrizio Ravanelli, Robert Earnshaw and Gareth McAuley. He now heads up Eleven Sports Management and has working alongside him ex-professional footballers John Williams, Carl Hutchings, Ben Abbey and Chris Marsh.
Eves also had a short stint as manager of part-time non-league Willenhall Town from March 2006 until November 2007 when he resigned through work commitments.Hewon the Birmingham Senior Cup for the first time in the 125 year history of the competition and reached the play-off final in the 2006-07 season eventually losing out in extra time to Bromsgrove Rovers.

Wayne Clarke (born 28 February 1961) is a former English professional footballer. During his career he made almost 450 appearances in the Football League, playing as a striker for several different clubs including Wolverhampton Wanderers, Birmingham City,Everton, Leicester City, Manchester City, Shrewsbury Town, Stoke City and Walsall. He scored nearly 150 goals. He was a member of the Everton team which finished as English league champions in 1987. He is the youngest of five brothers. His brothers Frank, Allan, Derek, and Kelvin all played league football.

Clarke was born in Wolverhampton. He joined home-town club Wolverhampton Wanderers as an associate schoolboy on his 15th birthday in 1976, despite competition from leading clubs, and became an apprentice when he left school the following year. He also represented England at schoolboy and youth level.
He signed his first professional contract in March 1978,[2] and made his first team debut as a substitute on 9 May 1978 in a 2–1 win away to Ipswich Town. He was a member of the 16-man travelling squad when Wolves won the League Cup in 1980, but did not play. Competing for places with Andy Gray and John Richards, he was a member of the team that suffered relegation from the First Division in 1982 but reclaimed their top flight status the following season. He scored 33 goals in 170 appearances in all competitions before Ron Saunders took him to Second Division Birmingham City in 1984. The fee of £80,000 was set by tribunal and included a clause entitling Wolves to half of any profit made from a future sale of the player.
Clarke scored 19 goals in his first season at Birmingham, which made him their leading scorer. His 17 league goals made a major contribution to the club winning the 1984–85 Second Division title. His season in the top flight with Birmingham was interrupted by suspension and minor injuries, and he only managed five goals as the side were relegated, which included scoring twice in Birmingham’s 3–0 win in the local derby away to Aston Villa. In 1986–87, Clarke again scored 19 goals, which again made him leading scorer. With Birmingham struggling to avoid further relegation to the Third Division and in financial difficulties,[8] the club accepted an offer from Everton who were in need of an emergency replacement for the injured Graeme Sharp. Clarke joined Everton in March 1987 together with inexperienced reserve striker Stuart Storer, the pair jointly valued at £300,000. Former club Wolves complained to the Football League because they believed Birmingham were deliberately inflating the valuation placed on Storer to reduce the amount they would owe Wolves under the sell-on clause for Clarke. Birmingham’s actions may have been an attempt to recoup money lost on the 1981 sale of Joe Gallagher to Wolves, when the club was declared bankrupt the following year still owing most of the £350,000 fee.
Clarke’s five goals in ten games, notably the winning goal away at Arsenal not long after he joined, in the remainder of the 1986–87 season was enough to earn him a championship medal.The following year he began the season with the only goal in a 1–0 Charity Shield win over FA Cup winners Coventry Cityat Wembley, and later scored the only goal in the Merseyside derby that not only beat arch-rivals Liverpool, but also prevented them setting a new record of 30 games unbeaten from the start of a season. At the end of the 1988–89 season, during which he helped his club to reach the FA Cup final but did not play in it, Everton brought in Mike Newell from Leicester City in part exchange for Clarke and £500,000.
His return to the Second Division was brief. After just 11 league games and one goal, Clarke returned to the top flight with Manchester City, managed byHoward Kendall who had bought him for Everton three years earlier. He moved in a part-exchange deal valued at £650,000 which saw David Oldfield join Leicester.
He was unable to claim a regular place in the Manchester City side. While at Maine Road he was loaned to Shrewsbury Town, where he scored six goals in seven games, then to Stoke City (three goals in nine matches), and then back to Wolves, where he was viewed as a potential partner for Steve Bull. However his first appearance for the club lasted just 20 minutes before he punctured a lung, returned to Manchester City, and on his return to fitness was not allowed out on loan again.
Clarke’s next move came in the summer of 1992 when he joined Walsall in Division Three. He was the fourth of the brothers to play for Walsall, and the move meant he had played in all four divisions of the Football League. He was the club’s top scorer in the 1992–93 season with 21 goals in 39 games, helping them to a playoff position, but they were heavily defeated in the playoff semi-final by Crewe Alexandra and Clarke was sold to local rivals Shrewsbury Town, managed by former Wolves goalkeeper Fred Davies.
Clarke spent two seasons at Gay Meadow. The 1993–94 season brought the Division Three title and promotion to Division Two, and by the time the club released him at the end of the 1994–95 season, he had scored 22 goals in 59 games.
Managerial career
He was appointed player-manager of Telford United in the Conference in July 1995, and resigned 18 months later after a spell of poor results, though with the club in mid-table. In June 1997 he applied for the vacant manager’s post at former club Walsall, but was unsuccessful.
