Pär Cederqvist (born 10 March 1980), sometimes spelled Pär Cederquist, is a Swedish footballer who currently plays forJönköpings Södra IF in Superettan. He has previously represented Djurgårdens IF, Östers IF, Walsall F.C., Raufoss ILand Landskrona BoIS. He was rumoured to be going back to England to join Shrewsbury Town; however, he refused to leave and therefore negotiations did not resume.
As with many of these overseas players, not a lot of information is available. I remember him being signed, but he made such an impression that I cannot recollect how many games he played if he scored any goals, how long he was with us. However i have a recollection that the manager at the time said that he was tall and that he would produce the goals we required (a familar story which I have heard other managers since, tell us) after we had sold our centre forward.
That is about the limit of what I know, however I am sure that there is someone, somewhere out there who will put some meat on to these bare bones.
There you are not posted for half an hour and Danny points me in the direction of this material. I have downloaded it after Google translate turned it into English from Swedish, so it comes as per translation, Stats and all!. so here goes.
