Following report from Pics on his signing…………..

Josh CRADDOCK – Midfielder. Highly rated, tough tackling midfield enforcer who possesses a formidable engine, he signed during summer 2012 after ending the previous campaign with Stourbridge. Began his career by coming through the ranks with Walsall as a front runner to complete a two-year Apprenticeship at the Banks’s Stadium, culminating in him netting 12 goals in just 16 starts as the Youth Team scooped the Youth Alliance North-West Conference Championship in 2007-08. May 2008 saw him awarded a professional deal after also making his Saddler’s debut just prior to the end of the campaign as a substitute in the Football League One clash with Hartlepool United. During 2008-09 he featured extensively for the Reserve’s, but appeared only twice more as a substitute for the First Team. During summer 2009 Walsall confirmed he had chosen to leave professional football in order to pursue a University education. After linking up with local side Cradley Town for a short spell at the start of the 2009-10 campaign, he later signed for Halesowen Town, before eventually transferring to Hednesford Town in February 2010 – where he helped the Pitmen reach the semi-final of the Southern League Premier Division play-offs. During summer 2010 he moved on to Stourbridge and last season he was an integral part of the Glassboys side who reached the Second Round of the FA Cup – disposing of League Two Plymouth Argyle in a first-round replay, before eventually losing out to League One Stevenage.
