Mark Jones (born 4 January 1968 in Brownhills)  is a former footballer who played as a midfielder in the Football League for Walsall, Exeter City and Hereford United during the 1980s.

Following the appeal for information, Mark himself got in touch with the following information.

I attended Shire Oak School joined Walsall went on loan to Exeter City and played around half a dozen games. Rejoined Walsall then signed for HerefordnUnited and played in the 1990 Welsh Cup win. Then in December 1990 i had to have a cruciate knee operation which finished my professional career.

I moved into Non League football with Walsall Wood then Hednesford Town and Bolehall swifts where in 2000 another cruciate injury meant a total retirement from the game, as I had work commitments which had to be fullfilled.

Mark finished by saying that he still lives in Brownhills and Still watches football but down at the Hawthorns (with his nephew) and not at The Bescot Stadium.

I would like to thank Mark for giving me the above information, and if he would like to add anything, all he has to do is keep in touch and I will dutilly add to blog.
